KARACHI, Pakistan News: Taliban Claim Karachi Suicide Attack, Taliban have claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing that killed 43 people in the commercial capital Karachi on Youm-e-Ashur, and threatened more attacks.

‘My group claims responsibility for the Karachi attack and we will carry out more such attacks, within 10 days,’ said a spokesman.

Asmatullah Shaheen, one of the commanders of Tehrik-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), claimed responsibility of the attack in a call to foreign news agency and threatened more attacks.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: PM Gilani Strongly Condemns Peshawar Blast, Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Sunday strongly condemned the bomb blast at a livestock market in Peshawar that hurt several people.

In a message the Prime Minister said those involved in such attacks were enemies of the state and would be brought to justice.

He said the government was responsible for protecting the lives and property of masses and would not allow occurrence of such incidents that disrupt peace in the country.
